15+ Years
Mentorship Programme
Our UD Mentorship programme supports current and former UDFC players aged 15 and over as they take their first steps into coaching, developing the next generation of United Dragons coaches from within our own community.
From player to coach
For many of our players, United Dragons is where their love of the game began — Mentorship is the chance to give that back.
Working alongside experienced coaches, mentees learn how to plan, lead and inspire sessions — building the foundations of a coaching career.
“United Dragons is a phenomenal organization run by a passionate, energetic, and dedicated coaching staff. Our kids absolutely love it and look forward to every practice and match. Highly recommend!”

A coaching apprenticeship
The programme is built around a 12-week training placement, where each participant works alongside an assigned UD mentor as an assistant coach.
It is hands-on from the very first session — real players, real coaching, and the guidance to grow week by week.
More than coaching
Alongside their coaching duties, mentees complete tailored assignments and work towards recognised professional qualifications.
Everything is designed to develop their employability, confidence and social skillset — on and off the pitch.
Building the UD family
Mentorship is our way of keeping talented young people in the game and investing in the people who make United Dragons what it is.
Many of our mentees go on to become part of the UD coaching team.
